Outfit of the Day: Fishnets and Florals

Happy Sunday! Today I thought I'd share one of my favourite sale finds which incorporates two of my favourite things - fishnet and floral print! If you're planning on going a little edgy, perhaps a bit grunge chic this Valentine's Day then here is a dress option for you.

Lip colour - Chinchila by Limecrime | Long gold chain from Primark | Midi rings (pack of 5) from H&M - (Alex Cook Photography - All Rights Reserved)

This is one of my favourite outfits at the moment. I found both the dress and coat on Missguided (now in sale!) and think the faux fur and fishnet really compliment each other and are in keeping with the grunge chic style I'm liking at the moment. I really love mesh and fishnet as it gives a really nice edge to any outfit. I'm pretty self -conscious about my arms and shoulders and so mesh and fishnet style tops and dresses give the illusion of having it on show without actually having it all out.

It's so hard for me to find a dress that is of a good length, not too long or too short and this one is perfect! The fishnet material gives it that few extra inches without being too long on me and creates that really nice, flattering overlay. The underlay floral fabric has a silky feel so can be dressed up or down and worn separately on it's own. I also really love that the two are not attached and so it can be worn as two separate dresses or the fishnet over the top of other items to create infinite outfit builds!

I haven't quite worked out what we're doing for Valentine's Day yet - especially as we seem to go out to dinner all the time anyway! But I think this could be the outfit. Do you have a favourite outfit at the moment? What are you planning on wearing this Valentine's?

Today I'm off out for another fun-filled day of shopping, Wagamamas and Inherent Vice at le cinema! Stay tuned this week because I will be filming my very first video (as requested from your comments on here/Instagram) showing you the rest of my purchases from the January sales and this payday :) I'm really excited to share them all with you!

Until then, enjoy the rest of your weekend,
