Beauty Review: LUSH Halloween Collection 2015

Hello, hello! So my favourite season is upon us and that means it's time to prepare for the greatest holiday of all - Halloween! With not too long to go until October 31st, shops have been flooding with spooky treats and treasures. LUSH Cosmetics, of course, are no exception and today I thought I'd share some of my favourite pieces of their 2015 Halloween collection.

The Pumpkin Heebie-Jeebie Gift Set - I picked myself up this rather adorable Pumpkin Heebie-Jeebie, a pumpkin shaped gift box containing two of their Halloween bath bombs. Open up the pumpkin face and you’ll find the Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb and a fruity Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar. These two bathing delights are inspired the Autumn/Winter months and designed to give off a spicy yet warming scent.

The Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar - This drop dead gorgeous sparkling bubble bar is designed to make you feel energised after long, cold autumn days. As with LUSH's other bubble bars, simply hold under running water and it will unleash its gold to give your bath water a bewitching glow. The bar itself contains juniper berry, grapefruit and lime oils which give off a really lovely, fruity smell. This does leave an oily layer in the bath to leave your skin feeling super soft after although I did feel it was a tad oily for my skin in particular. I'd recommend quickly washing yourself off with the shower afterwards so not to leave any excess oil or glitter on yourself but it will leave your skin feeling amazingly smooth. Plus, look how pretty it is!

The Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb - You might remember Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb from previous Lush Halloween collections as a shower cream. This is made from a spicy blend of herbs designed to relax you. Patchouli, peppercorn and black pepper, organic wheatgerm oil, Vitamin E and fair-trade vanilla are all used in this to nourish your skin and calm the senses. I'm not a massive fan of vanilla smells but this is perfectly balanced and smells fantastic. I loved the green colour and the little pink flecks - it made the bath and felt super relaxed while I soaked with some Netflix on the side.

Nightwing Shower Jelly - Last but not certainly not least is the Nightwing Shower Jelly, by far my favourite of the collection. It's shower jelly, shaped like a friggin' bat! Made from aloe vera, zesty lime juice and Vitamin E, it leaves the skin feeling tingly, soft and smelling great. I personally think this smells like sour jelly babies which I think makes me love it even more. I used this by taking the entire product out of the pot and applying it to the skin whilst flat in my palm. This saves on any wastage and gives you a proper foam. It honestly looks and smells good enough to eat and I'm so glad I picked this up.

Are you ready for Halloween? What are your favourite LUSH treats? As always, I love reading your comments so please do leave your thoughts below. Lots of Halloween goodness coming up and I can't wait to share them with you.

Until next time gorgeous ghouls,
