Beauty Event: 24 Days of Happiness with The Body Shop

This week, I was kindly invited by The Body Shop to kick off the festive season and celebrate their  Christmas #24DaysofHappiness launch at the London Westfield store. Here's a little look...

The #24DaysofHappiness installation includes an interactive screen which features a digital ribbon to be unwrapped to uncover a mystery prize. As I arrived, I was greeted by The Body Shop team and asked to sample the booth for myself for a chance to win one of their many daily prizes. Open to both bloggers and members of the public and, when you enter your name, it prints out a rather cute card which entitles you to a free gift courtesy of the store. Yup, it's that easy. These prizes available range from miniature products, giant gift sets, a Westfield shop and afternoon tea at the Ritz which is pretty exciting. I was then taken round the store by a member of the team who demonstrated all the wonderful new products...

Having tried out all the new festive and spa collections in the store, including the new perfume selections, I think the Glazed Apple range is definitely a new favourite and it smells absolutely amazing. Finally, I was given an amazing goodie bag to take home with me as well as letting me choose any five products from the store to be posted to me - which makes for one very Happy Christmas! Here's a little look at some of my goodies...

The goodie bag included the Colour Crush Nail Sequins- ideal for Christmas parties and nights out. This was my first time trying out any of their nail varnishes but I was really pleased with the outcome. Next up is the Eyeshadow Palettes in Grooving Gold* and Swinging Silver*. I usually stick to more matte tones of eyeshadow (if I even remember to put it on) but these are, again, perfect for Christmas parties and my favourite is the orange (1) which can also be blended with any of the colours from both palettes. Also from the makeup range what the Velvet Lip and Cheek Stickin Poppy Coral and a Fresh Sorbet Blush* in Cuban Watermelon. For body, I received a beautiful smelling Japanese Cherry Blossom Shower Gel* which is super creamy and, last but not least, The Body Shop's classic Coconut Scrub*.

Having worked at the The Body Shop years ago, it was really nice to revisit some old products as well as try out the new ranges that have popped up since. Thanks so much to The Body Shop for inviting me to their event and for giving me the chance to try out the booth plus my amazing festive treats.  You can check our the online advert calendar hereWhat are your favourites from The Body Shop Christmas collection? Have you popped by to try out the booth yet? As always, I love reading your comments so please do leave them below!

Merry Christmas everyone!

  4. Oooh I love The Body Shop! They're always so generous at events too! My favourite festive scent is the Frosted Plum! Smells so good, so I've gone for that range this year, as I had Glazed Apple last year! Love the fruity smells! Yum! Love the idea of the prizes from the advent Calendar and the shop looks amazing with the bow and everything! Bet you had a brilliant time there! :)
