Beauty Review: 2016 Valentine's Day LUSH Favourites

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Back again with another Beauty review and today I'm sharing some of my favourite products from the 2016 LUSH Valentine's Day Collection which, coincidentally, made for some rather amazing Galentine's Day gifts for my best gal pals...

We all know by now that LUSH pretty much nail it when it comes to any holiday. This Valentine's Day, of course, was no exception with the release of a 2016 range. The last few years, I've sent my friends Galentine's Day presents and this year, LUSH had it sorted for me. For those of you who don't know, Galentine's Day is February 13th and, if celebrated properly, welcomes eating a lot of breakfast foods and celebrating your lady friends (single or attached). I felt obliged to check out some of the LUSH collection and pick out some Galentine's Day presents but couldn't help but pick out some bits for myself...

First up is this Prince Charming Shower Cream (100g). This is a bright pink shower cream with a hint of shimmer that's made with pomergrante juice and marshmellow root, it smells fantastic and is super moisturising. LUSH states that "'Prince Charming will sweep you off your feet and carry you off into the sunset, leaving your skin silky soft and smelling lovely". It sounds perfect. One warning I will note, however, is that this did stain my flannel when I wiped it off my white table. Something to be wary of when covering yourself in it! When showering with it, it didn't seem to leave any marks on my body though.

This particular product is my most favourite from all the LUSH products I've collected over the last few years. The Roses All the Way Soap (100g) is a rose scented, heart shaped soap made from coconut and rose oil. Besides being super creamy and sweet smelling, look how pretty it is! When you wash with it, you can really feel how moisturising it is and I absolutely love the scent it leaves on my hands. The perfect gift for any gal. LUSH states on their site "Made with a fresh rose infusion and rose oil, you might just want to pick up a dozen of these rose-scented soaps for all the loves in your life. This rose-shaped soap will gently fade to a soft creamy color as you lather up, treating your skin to a delicate and rosy experience. It's a luxurious soap with a soft scent that will please all the rose lovers on your list".

The Unicorn Bubbly Bar is something I've noticed in the majority of their gift sets this year. Available all year round, I still think this is an adorable addition to a Valentine's Day present. LUSH states on their site "Unicorns are probably real. But, even if they're not (don't worry they definitely are) you won't mind! Relaxing lavender oil meets mood-brightening neroli in this lustre-filled bar. Neroli oil increases serotonin levels in the brain which makes us feel contented and cheery, so you can ponder the existence of magical creatures while building a fairytale landscape of feel-good, fragrant bubbles". It certainly does smell amazing and create amazing bubbles with a magical feel. No wonder it's already a firm blogger's favourite.

So that's it for my Valentine's LUSH favourites, how are you celebrating this year? What were your favourites from the collection? As always, I love reading your comments so please do leave me lots of lovely ones below,

Until next time - Happy Valentine's Day!
