Jewellery Review: Souvenir Jewelry

Over the Christmas period, I decided I was going to treat myself to something I wouldn't ordinarily be able to splurge on. I'd been obsessed with this brand for a little while and finally decided to give in to temptation. Here's my review of Souvenir Jewelry...

For those of you who haven't seen them yet on Instagram, Souvenir Jewelry is an American brand, with each piece handcrafted by a lady who goes by the Instagram name of TheHolyMountainism. Souviener Jewelry blends rock'n'roll, tattoo inspired pieces with girly, elegant jewellery available in both sterling silver and gold bronze. Being hand crafted and made to measure in Philadelphia, orders can take up to six weeks to arrive to the UK but it was certainly worth the wait...

Up first is this stunning Sabbath necklace in Gold Bronze. This immediately caught my eye as I love the floral detailing and, of course, it's shaped like a heart. Whilst the necklace is bronze and after a few wears it has begun to tarnish, I'm just in awe of the design and I can always replace the chain with a real gold one in the future. The necklace itself is the perfect size with the chain being the perfect length to rest in the centre of the collar bone and the pendant being equally as perfectly sized. All in all, I'm so in love. If I was to purchase again, however, I think I would go for the sterling silver so to prolong it's life a little as the yellow bronze is not for life.

I also picked up these two stunning rings. The As Above So Below sovereign ring too has the beautiful floral detail on the sides and the delicate script on the face. Again made from Gold Bronze, I'm going to take extra care of this one to ensure it keeps it's colour but as of yet, it has no noticable green on my finger or started to tarnish. The Forever Name Ring is part of the stackable collection in which you can mix and match with and build up your collection. Being my first order, I decided to stick to these two incase the sizing wasn't quite right. Luckily, having measured my finger before making my order, they're pretty spot on although I would probably order the size up in the future just for a little extra room incase I want to change the fingers I wear them on. I ordered a size 6 which is a UK size 'M' and this was just right. If you're unsure of which ring size to order, I'd definitely recommend having your finger measured by a jeweler or using a measuring tape before placing your order. Again, I'd recommend going for the Sterling Silver if you want these babies to be long standing members of your jewellery collection.

So that's it for another jewellery review post - what do you think of Souvenir Jewelry? Had you ever heard of them before? As always, I love reading your comments so please do leave lots of lovely ones below.

Peace and love,

    1. Haha I know, it was a long time but I love them so much so that made up for it. It obviously depends on where you live for the postage time and what you order as everything is made to measure :) x

  13. Ooh these are sooooo purdy! I'd never heard of this brand but betcha can guess what my next google search will be now!

Maybe try a little clear nail polish inside to stop the tarnish? Some of my fave jewellery ever always leaves me with green fingers or earlobes where it's not real gold... I know, sooo sexy! Ha!

Looking forward to seeing which pieces you buy next!
