Outfit of the Day: Lazy Valentine

Back again with another Outfit of the Day and, keeping it in the Valentine spirit, I thought I'd share a piece that encapsulates the February 14th perfectly. Spotted with love hearts, here's my Valentine's Outfit of the Day...

I thought I'd take a break from my usual smouldering, grumpy pout face, turn up the contrast and mix it up with today's outfit post. I know I don't tend to wear a lot of colour but I think it's safe to say that this dress more than compensates for my goth days. If I'm honest, I was a little nervous about posting this particular post. Not because of the outfit itself (I totally love this dress) but because it's a little out of my comfort zone in terms of stepping away from a moody goth face. I hope you all still like it all the same! You can probably why it caught my eye with the amazing heart print and of course red colour which I think makes for a gorgeous valentine's day outfit and later, a summer dress to get you noticed.

Heart Dress - Lazy Oaf | Gold Bronze Heart Necklace - Souvenir Jewelry | Lady Bug Sunglasses - Primark | Lipstick - Diva by MAC Cosmetics

Lazy Oaf seem to be making a regular appearance on Popcorn and Glitter lately. I must have this same style dress in about five different variations by now and, as a few of you my know, this style dress is a LO classic that suckers me in every time - much like the Casper and New Sh*t ones did a few months back.

I think what I love most about this dress is the detailing on the colour and sleeves. The piping really gives it a vintage feel and when I wear it I feel like something out of an Archie's Girls cartoon. It's so fun and the bright print but baggy shape makes for comfy, effortless fashion. I can't wait for the summer to come along so I can wear this more with some frilly socks and black jelly heels.

What outfit are you going to be rocking this Valentine's Day? What are your plans for February 14th? As always, I love reading your comments so please do leave me lots of lovely ones below! Hope you're all having an amazing week so far,

Lots of love,
