Lifestyle Event: Making Pizza with 'I Just Love It'

A few weeks ago, I was excited to attend a special blogging event at La Cucina Caldesi, hosted by personalised gift store, I Just Love It. Along side some fellow lifestyle and food bloggers, we were invited to a pizza making masterclass with Italian chef, Stefano Borella - making our own personalised pizzas. Here's a little look at the evening...

I Just Love It are a a personalised gifting service, offering anything from homeware and kitchen items, to signature books, entertainment and children's toys. Having recently moved in to our first flat, they seemed to get in touch at the perfect time and asked if I would be interested in checking out their latest personalised home products and take part in making my very own pizza with some fellow bloggers. Naturally, I couldn't wait to check out their range and eat all the pizza.

Greeted with some Italian horderves and a glass of prosecco at the door, the evening was a great chance to mingle with some like-minded bloggers. Having put the blogging-world to rights, we put on our aprons and became pizza chefs for the night. We were spoilt for choice with a whole selection of amazing, fresh ingredients prepared for us. Stefano talked us through how to prepare the dough, the science behind getting the texture just right before adding our toppings and cooking in the oven. However, I tried to keep my pizza simple - a Margherita made with garlic oil, fresh garlic with two kinds of cheese and tomato. Apparently this is what an authentic Italian pizza looks like and I'm not too shy to admit that it tasted pretty damn good also. Before we left, we were each given our own personalised gift bag, filled with wonderful goodies!

Overall, I think I can speak for myself and the other attendees in saying the night was a success. It was fun-filled and an excellent opportunity to get to know the brand as well as some fellow members of the blogging community. Thank you so much to I Just Love It for having me and for my amazing gift bag of goodies. Have you ever tried I Just Love It or a personalised gifting site? What would you treat yourself to? As usual, I love reading your thoughts so please do leave your lovely comments below.

Until next time pizza lovers,
