Outfit of the Day: Public Desire Boots

Motel Rocks Sundial dress and denim jacket
Hello, hello. Hope everyone's enjoying their week so far. Spring is official upon us and, although it certainly hasn't felt particularly warm the last few days, I decided to go for a stroll and test drive my new Public Desire boots...

Having spent many a lunch hour perving over they're collections, I finally have a pair of Public Desire shoes. I'd been after a new pair of boots for a while and so I was pretty excited when the brand sent over these beauties. I'm always a bit worried when I try out new pairs as they often hurt my feet but I was really impressed with just how soft and comfortable these were. I love that they have just the right amount of heel to be practical but still look on trend. After a test drive round the village, I can safety say that my feet are completely in tact with no boo-boos. The great thing about this particular pair is how versatile they are - dress them up with a skirt and tights or wear them with some leggings or trousers for casual wear. I've paired my Aria boots with an old Motel Rocks dress, a vintage denim jacket and my trusty fedora.

I must have this dress in every pattern by now and you may remember the monochrome floral version back from an outfit post I did last summer. They're pretty much my go-to, throw on fashion items and ideal for bumming around the flat at the weekend. They are, however, super short and a bit of a funny shape and so I always have a black jersey skirt on underneath to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions.

Thanks so much to Public Desire for making my week and sending these over. I can't wait to buy all their sandals come Summer. That's it for another Outfit of the Day post - have you ever shopped at Public Desire? What are your favourite comfy shoes? As always, I love reading your thoughts so please do leave them in the comment section below.

Until next time,

  2. Looking pretty as always! I've missed out sooo much since my "little" break from blogs... I kind of feel like I could start again! It's way too cold to rock an outfit like yours though. :) x

  9. Your look is so bold and distinctive. I always wanted to have a haircut like the one you have but I don't think I can maintain the fringe with my curly hair! :(

  11. Ah the perfect style and height too! I have a very similar pair I featured on my last Practical Fashion post but they're a LOT higher than these. These look perfect for daily wear. Looking fierce as usual my doll.
