Fashion Review: LYDC Camera Ready Handbag

Back again with another fashion review and today I'm super excited to announce LYDC have asked me to be one of their brand ambassadors! What better to kickstart our collaboration then to share one of my favourite pieces from their new Spring Collection...

A bag that looks like a clapper board - if there's a better gift for a movie blogger, I don't know what it is. This is just one of the amazing bags that LYDC has to offer and, having heard about them on various social media platforms, I was super excited when they asked me to represent the brand. For those of you unfamiliar with LYDC, they are a British luxury clothing and accessories brand with a modern twist.

This particular bag is the Camera Ready Shoulder Bag* by Anna Smith - renowned for creating cute, novelty bags and purses. As a major cinephile (not sure you noticed), you can imagine that I was immediately drawn to this beauty. If you're a loyal follower of Popcorn and Glitter, you'll already be aware of my collection of novelty handbags but this is my new favourite of them all. Despite being novelty, I think it totally holds up for everyday use. I found it's a great size for all your day-to-day essentials; phone, purse, makeup and perhaps a little extra. I was pleased with the size when it arrived as in my head I pictured it a little smaller. I think if it was any bigger, it would ruin the overall look of the bag so I think it's an ideal size for day to evening use as well as just plain everyday.

I also really like the details on it. It has a few secret compartments which are ideal for your travel card or keys and little studs on the bottom to protect the material. The magnetic fastening means it closes fully but keeps that boxy shape and an adjustable strap so you can wear it however you like. Being a novelty bag, I wasn't quite sure what to expect in terms of the their quality but I am so impressed. It does not look or feel cheap at all and I can't wait to showcase this baby on my next night out.

Thanks so much to LYDC for sending me over this amazing bag. I'm super excited to be sharing more of their exciting collection and events in the coming months. If you want to grab yourself a little joy from LYDC, remember to use POPCORN10 at the checkout to receive your discount.

So there you have it - have you ever shopped with LYDC? What's your favourite piece from their Spring/Summer collection? As always, I love reading your comments so please do leave lots of lovely ones below.

Until next time,
