Beauty Event: LUSH Creative Showcase 2016

2016 Lush Creative Showcase
This week, myself and fellow blogger babe, Emily, headed over to London's Tobacco Dock to attend the LUSH Creative Showcase 2016 - a night of LUSH products, music and fragrance celebrating the global reveal of the Winter Collection.

Having arrived at the Tobacco Docks, myself and Emily had no idea what to expect from the event but once inside, we were so excited to try out all the amazing new LUSH treats and experiences. Made up of the LUSH Spa Experience Room, a Live LUSH Kitchen, soapbox talks from the creators, music, food and shops - it's safe to say there was plenty for us to do. Having gotten a chance to look at and purchase some new, up-and-coming products ahead of release, it was clear to see that LUSH will soon be dominating the cosmetic industry. With hopes for their own hairdressing salons and hair products, makeup and now even products for your teeth - LUSH are certainly one to watch. Here's a little look at what we got up to...

Without a doubt, my favourite part of the day was the incredible Winter reveal in the Christmas room - which I will be sharing as we get closer to the Christmas season. It was so exciting to sample and get a good look at some of the gift sets and products before they hit the shelves. As you can see, there was plenty to take photos of and so much to see and try out. I absolutely loved the Autumn and Halloween range - in particular the gorgeous pumpkin head bath bombs and the Autumn Leaf which was created by LUSH Japan and is made up of colours meant to symbolise the transition from Spring to Autumn. Another amazing one was Metamorphosis (the grey spiky looking one pictured above) which actually lights up in your bath tub. Mind blown. I believe that particular one will be available in the Oxford Circus branch and some flagship stores only. It's all very exciting!

Thanks so much to LUSH for putting together this fantastic event. The products featured in today's post will be ready for release very shortly so keep those eyes peeled if you like the look of any so far. Of course, I'll be sharing Part II in the form of a Christmas post very shortly. What LUSH products are you most looking forward to? Did you attend the LUSH Creative Showcase? As always, I love reading your thoughts so please do leave me lots of lovely comments below.

Until next time beauty lovers,

  8. Oh my god this looks like an absolute dream. I loooooove Lush and I have been meaning to go by there soon. Unfortunately, every single Lush I have been to has excellent customer service besides the one closest to me. But I really need to make a pilgrimage soon. I use the Grease Lightning and their toner water every day, as well as Dark Angels in the shower. It's been a long time since I've bought a bath bomb but I really need to with all this magical stuff coming out! Always here to support Cruelty-Free brands :)

    1. Ah no really? You should totally email customer service or something. Which store is it? That's so weird as Lush people are usually overly lovely I've found - they just don't leave you alone sometimes haha. Oh cool! I haven't tried those but I always see them in there. Yeah definitely - they've been a total life saver since I went completely cruelty free xx
