Lifestyle Review: My Halloween Favourites

Halloween drinking jars
The greatest day of the year will soon be upon us and the shops are flooded with amazing, spooky Halloween treats. Naturally, I've been hauling bits and pieces from all over the place and so I thought I would share some of my favourite All Hallows Eve purchases so far...

Halloween Chocolate Choccywoccydoodah
If you happen to find yourself on London's Carnaby Street or The Brighton Lanes anytime soon, it's always worth popping in to Choccywoccydoodah to check out their amazing seasonal displays. As with every year, their Halloween collection is on point. As well as some incredible skulls and 'poison' apples, this Chocolate Gravestone was just too cute to miss. This slab of joy comes available in milk, dark and white chocolate (decorated with a gold glaze) and are made from soya milk making them vegan friendly.

Topshop Halloween Headband
Topshop have a whole range of Halloween accessories this year and whilst shopping at the Oxford Street store, I came across this Mask Hairband. I'll admit that I'm copping out a little on my Halloween costume this year as usually I go all out with a movie theme but given that we only have a house party planned, I thought I'd keep it simple. Teaming this up with a velvet, winged leotard, I've decided to go as a vampire bat (although Lydia Deetz was certainly tempting too). Whilst I know that these are technically cat ears, they work pretty well for bats too and, let's face it - I'll make it work as I just love that lace detailing.

Lush Halloween Collection Nightwing
Most of you have probably seen a ton of Lush Halloween hauls from bloggers lately and it's hardly surprising given how amazing this year's collection is. I was fortunate enough to get a sneak preview of the Halloween products at this year's Showcase and some of my favourites include the beautiful Haunted House gift set which includes Nightwing Shower Jelly and the Something Wicked Comes this Way Bath Melt. Other favourites include the Pumpkin Soap and the Demon in the Shower shower gel.

Wilkinsons Halloween Drinking Jars
Having spotted these devilish delights in Wilkinson's for just £1 each, I could not resist but add to my (already excessive) mason jar collection. As well as having these Pumpkin and Skull Drinking Jars, Wilkos have so many amazing Halloween inspired treats for the home and kitchen. If you're having a house party or even just wanting to dress up the house in the spirit of all things spooky, I would strongly recommend popping in to Wilkinsons or Pound Store - you'll be amazed at some of the bargains.

ASOS Halloween socks
Probably one of my most favourite buys this year are these amazing socks from ASOS. Regular shoppers of ASOS have probably noticed that they've released quite a few variations of sheer ankle socks but I just had to get my hands on the Pumpkin and Bat designs. I really like the sheer pattern and they certainly make for comfy Halloween accessories. And let's face it - I'm going to wear these all year round anyway so money well spent.

Well, that's it for my Halloween favourites. I'm sure they'll be even more treats to come. What are your Halloween favourites? How are you getting ready for October 31st? As always, I love reading your comments so please do leave me lots of lovely ones below.

Until next time,
