Travel Diary: Postcards from Fuerteventura Part I

Some of you regular readers may have noticed that I've been a bit quiet on the blog this week and that's because I'm on holiday! Coming to you from sunny Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, here's Part I of my trip so far...

Our week was spent at a resort in the south of the Island called TUI Club Magic Life. One of the best things about the location (besides the all inclusive buffets which were available any time of day) was the stunning views. If you looked out of your window or balcony, you had the sea and if you looked behind you, it was a beautiful view of the volcanoes.

So far it's been a mix of a lot of relaxing, a lot of amazing food with some adventures thrown in. It seems that a week off in the warm sun has done wonders - who knew?

Stay tuned for Part II - coming soon! Until next time,

  1. This is very cool and I'm kind of jealous :) I've been thinking of taking a trip to Canada. And staying there for about four years.

    1. Aw I'd love to go there! Ha no one would blame you - didn't the site crash because so many people looked in to moving there? How are people feeling now the dust has settled a little?

    2. Yes, that's what happened to the site. People are still pretty upset about the election. Trump Tower in Manhattan has been barricaded off. The whole world will be affected so there may not be a point in moving elsewhere. As for Canada, Toronto is culturally diverse but the people there are kind of conservative. So there are not many hipsters there. People are kind of focused on their jobs. Vancouver does have a lot of hipsters and the scenic beauty is better there. I don't know much about Montreal. .

    3. Oh ok...are hipsters something you look for in a location then? Haha. I would have thought that was a negative although I get what you mean about a conservative area. I'd like to visit there though :)
