Fashion Event: BooHoo Christmas #PartyAfterParty

Last week, I was fortunate enough to attend the BooHoo Christmas party at W London. The night was fun-filled with photo-booths, dance machines, glitter stations and I even got to finally meet some of my favourite blogger babes. Here's a little look at the evening...

Since my blog has shifted more to a movie focus in recent months, I haven't been agreeing to many fashion type posts but I was really excited when utter babe Erica told me about the BooHoo #PartyAfterParty event. I've shopped with BooHoo for years and so it was amazing to be apart of their Christmas celebrations. Probably my favourite part of the evening was finally getting to meet two of my favourite bloggers, Erica and Emma and catching up with old friends. After a few amazing canopies, a glass of glittery champagne and many attempts at the various photo-booths, it was time to head home.

Thanks so much to BooHoo for having me at the event and for the amazing goodie bag of treats. I'm excited to try some of those products out and looking forward to focussing on more fashion posts in the New Year. Are you attending any fun Christmas events over the holiday season? Who are your favourite fashion brands? As always I love reading your comments so please do leave me lots of lovely ones down below.

Until next time,

  2. It looks like good times :) I hope you had fun, Sophie! At this point, I'll be happy if I manage to get through 2016 in one piece.

    1. Ha really? Have you not been well Gil? I've just had a week off with the flu so I know the feeling! Feeling very tired and unmotivated lately. Hope you feel better :)

    2. Sorry to hear you had the flu, Sophie :( Some of my relatives had the flu during Thanksgiving and we had to cancel our plans. I ended up doing the cooking for my dad on Thanksgiving. I don't like turkey that much so I cooked duck. No, I haven't been ill - it's just that 2016 has been a hard year. My mother died earlier this year. She was never a smoker but she died of a type of lung disease that she had for a long time.

    5. I can't imagine how hard that must be on holidays but I truly hope you and your dad still have a special Christmas together. Do you have much other family who will be spending it with you this year?

    6. I think my dad will be spending Christmas with the relatives that we were supposed to spend Thanksgiving with. I don't know what I'll be doing for Christmas. But I will be checking in with my dad over the upcoming holidays.

    7. Well, whatever you get up to, I hope you have a good Christmas with your dad. Someone once told me that Thanksgiving is a bigger deal in the US then Christmas, is that right? It's almost like you get two Christmasses

    8. I'd say they are about the same importance in terms of getting together with family and friends. I hope you will also have a good Christmas along with your family :) Will you be splitting time between your family and Jack's during the upcoming holidays? Are his parents also in London?

    9. Ah ok, that's cool :) We don't really have anything else like that here really. Jack's family live up in the country so it's about a 2 hour train ride but I'll be going up to see them after Boxing Day :)
