Lifestyle Event: EMP Christmas Party

When I look back on the year, I feel super grateful to have worked with some amazing brands over the past 12 months. One of my favourites being EMP. And so, in the spirit of the season, I headed along to the EMP Christmas Bloggers Party; from which I had the chance to catch up with some of my favourite blogger babes. Here's a look at our evening...

If you haven't yet heard of EMP, they are an alternative fashion store, specialising in gaming, music and film merchandise. Basically perfect for nerds such as myself. Hosted at Bar Soho in London, I headed along after work to a room filled with Christmas lights, photo booths and sparkly cupcakes. From events I've attended of theirs in past, they know how to host a party. Naturally, they had a whole load of cool merchandise around the room - including some incredible Star Wars baubles,  Game of Thrones knits and Nightmare Before Christmas figures.

In all honesty, I often dread 'blogger events'. I often feel uncomfortable and don't like to catagorise myself as a 'blogger' at all. However, I also find EMP events to be genuinely really fun. That evening, I got to catch up with some amazing girls - Luisa, Leigh, Kitty, Kaye and (finally meeting for the first time), Rhian. They're all such talented ladies who are a delight to be around. I cannot recommend their content enough if you want to give them a read. You won't be disappointed.

Having eaten our weight in Christmas food and snapped up all the photo opportunities, it was time to head home. The night really did just breeze by. But I can honestly say that this is one of my most favourite blogger events in a long time. And if they hadn't spoiled us enough, EMP also sent us home with a giant box of Christmas treats which I'll be sharing with you all very soon.

Huge thanks to the girls for making my night so enjoyable - and, of course, EMP for hosting yet another awesome evening. But tell me, have you started your Christmas celebrations yet? What are your plans for the festive season? As always, I love reading your comments so please do leave me lots of lovely ones down below.

Until next time,

*Disclaimer - I was invited to this event as a blogger. As always, all opinions are my own and do not reflect that of the brand.

  2. It looks like it was a lot of fun! And all of you ladies look stunning! I'll be spending time with my dad for Christmas as he is recovering from an illness that has given him vertigo. We were thinking of going to Seattle to visit family but he doesn't feel well enough to travel.
There was one work Christmas party I had where I once won two MTV Movie Award tickets for the following summer and that was a lot of fun. It allowed me and my guest to attend an "after party" where I got to see some celebrities close up. Of course, that is simply routine for you with all the celebrities you interact with in London, Sophie :)
