Beauty Review: LUSH Easter Collection 2021

Happy Easter Sunday 2021! We might not quite be clear of lockdown just yet but this Easter certainly feels a little more promising as restrictions are gradually easing up. So, whilst we can't stray too far outside, there's nothing stopping us from enjoying treats indoors with LUSH's 2021 Easter collection*. They were kind enough to send me a selection of goodies to try out for myself.

One of my favourite luxuries before the world changed was eating at a restaurant - in particular, brunch. As the world is looking forward to opening up again, LUSH* have created their very own brunch-inspired selection of products to help you unwind and refresh with some self-care faves and some special limited edition Easter pieces. From your face down to your feet, here are some products containing fresh juices, sweet aromas, and powerful key ingredients to prepare you for what the world will soon have to offer.

Avo Good Easter soap - Looking good enough to eat and rich in avocado, this soap is the cosmetic embodiment of brunch. Simply lather up with the sparkly citrus scent of bergamot and litsea cubeba. LUSH buys organic avocado oil from a producer in central Kenya. It is a thick, protective and conditioning oil that is well absorbed by the skin.

Funfetti Cake lip scrub - It's party time for lips! Cake flavoured lip scrub with colourful sprinkles.

Just apply and let the exfoliating caster sugar and softening jojoba oil scrub away dead skin and infuse moisture to rejuvenate.

Lime Bounty body butter - A rich cream made from a combination of deeply softening shea butter from the Ojoba Women’s Shea Cooperative in Ghana, Fair Trade cocoa butter, murumuru and cupuacu butter, olive oils and coconut oil from Nias, Indonesia. Lime Bounty is perfect for anywhere that needs smoothing and making lovely. Put the lime in the coconut and let your skin just drink it up!

Orange shower scrub - A natural exfoliator, this sea salt scrub brightens skin while the vitamin C rich orange scent uplifts your mind in an aromatherapy shower.

Pumice Power - This soapy pumice bar will break down that tough second skin. With brightening sweet orange oil to refresh and rejuvenate from heels to toes. Soap and scrub in one simple motion. We pumice you'll notice the difference.

Cup o’ Coffee face and body mask - Just around the corner, there's a rainbow in the sky. So let's have another cup o' coffee and let's have another piece o' pie! If you're a sucker for the strong, dark, stimulating type, take a shot of this coffee infusion filled mask to the face. Wake up and invigorate the skin with the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Roasted cocoa extract, vetivert and coriander oil combine to create an addictive fragrance. Smooth over face and body, leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water for your daily fix.

Eggy Wegg bath bomb - You've got egg in your bath! This citrus fresh, vegan bath bomb comes ready fried, so just pop into the bath and enjoy the yolk! Uplifting Sicilian lemon oil and refreshing spearmint oil to feel awakened, while swirling bright colours of pink and orange hues gives you a boost for the whole day.

Golden Egg bath melt - Indulge in a super soak that’s rich in moisturising Fair Trade organic cocoa butter, Brazilian orange oil and glittering golden lustre. Adding to the luxurious shimmer, Fair Trade organic cocoa butter sourced from the Dominican Republic and Peru melts in the warm bath water to moisturise and protect the skin. Follow the White Rabbit Bath Bomb - This adorable rainbow rabbit is a fizzing bath bomb which leaves a rainbow trail and a refreshing citrus scent. Besides making your bath burst with colour, it also has moisturising corn-starch and uplifting bergamot oil.

That's it for another cruelty-free beauty review. A huge thanks to LUSH for allowing me to sample these incredible products from their Easter collection. But tell me, which of these products would you love to try for yourself? Which LUSH products are your most favourite? As always, I love reading your thoughts so please do leave your comments below.

Until next time fellow Lushies, happy Easter bank holiday weekend and stay safe,
