Jewellery Review: Body Jewellery Shop

Hello, hello! How was everyone's weekend? The last couple of months, I've been considering some extra piercings but given that my last piercing experience was not a great one, I've never made time for it. Which is why I thought it pretty handy when Body Jewellery Shop sent me over some ear cuffs - perfect for faking it and adding some extra metal...

There's definitely an ear cuff trend amongst celebrities at the moment. Whether they be huge and sparkling or shiny but subtle, they seem to be an easy way to add a little metal without piercing anything. When asked to do another review for them, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Body Jewellery Shop also offered cuffs and faux jewellery for those of us a little undecided about popping to the piercing parlour.

If you know me, you'll know gold is my favourite and so I picked out these pieces - the Zircon Steel Clip On Ear Cuff collection*. What I like about them most is that they really do look like I have an ear full of earrings. Whilst I've never faked it in the past, I've never seen the point in fake nose rings, fake lip rings etc (no pain, no gain), I really like the look of the cuffs and they're really comfortable on the ear. Easy to put on or off, they look great and with none of the hassle. Just don't lose them on the way to work like I did!

I've worn them on and off for a few days now and I'm really pleased that they haven't discoloured or irritated my ears at all. Surprising but pretty darn good for jewellery at £1.99 a piece. You can double up with them (as shown on me above) or just wear them on their own to create which ever look you like. Can you tell I used to have plugs, much?

So what do you think? Have you tried Body Jewellery Shop yet? You regular readers will notice I changed my hair this weekend. See if you can spot the difference. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Leave me your thoughts below!

Peace and love

    1. Thanks! Aw, should of known you'd be the first to spot it, Gil. No one has noticed at work or at home! I lightened the top as well so it's more brunette than black :)

  6. These look pretty nice if you don't want to actually pierce your ears etc. I know I'd worry that those would fall out... I've been thinking of actually piercing my ears like on the second photo you took.
