Outfit of the Day: Seeing Spots

Hello, hello. It's been a while since my last outfit of the day and with the days getting colder, I thought I'd share a little winter warmer with this spotted Topshop number...

When it comes to Autumn/Winter trends, I'll be the first to admit that I can go a little overboard with buying coats and jackets. I like to have one to go with any style or mood and most of all, I like to stand out. I've always been a huge fan of vintage inspired pieces and in particular fur (faux of course). This year, I picked up this amazing Topshop Faux Fur Leopard Print Swing Coat and I'll think you'll agree, it makes a statement all of it's own.

I know that a lot of faux fur coats, especially leopard print, can tend to look a little cheap if not made of the correct fibres but this is super soft and fluffy to keep it looking high-end and classic. I'm so glad I nabbed it while I still had the chance. When it comes to leopard, you don't want to distract from the print and so I've kept it simple with a plain black turtle-neck jersey jumper and paired it with a cord button down skirt to add some extra texture. And, of course, you can't go wrong with some comfy Polley Doc Martens.

What's your favourite winter print? What's your A/W statement style? As always, I love reading your comments so leave your thoughts below. Hope everyone's had a great weekend,

Peace and Love,
