Lifestyle Review: A Christmas Day Haul

Hello! Merry Christmas to you all. Today's post is a little snippet - spreading Christmas cheer in sharing a little bit of what I got up to this December 25th. Hope you're all having an amazing day, being spoilt rotten, spending time with family and friends and eating all the food. Here is a little summary of Christmas in the Athawes-Walden household.

A little look at my decorations and wrapping this year! My little tree complete with cupcakes, sweets, various snowy/woodland creatures and a Jack Skeleton bauble. I went for a rustic look with my wrapping this year (above) brown paper and string and this super cute candy cane paper just £1 from Sainsburys!

Like all seasonal events, I made sure to get Christmas nails this month (It was pointed out to me that a particular devoted reader went out and got her own practically identical ones having seen this on my Instagram - I'm glad you liked them so much!) As you can see, I went for Frozen theme this year. All nail varnish by O.P.I by midi-rings from Urban Outfitters.

Jack and I decided to have our own mini Christmas this year before he went to spend Christmas with his parents in Northampton. We exchanged our early Christmas presents (not all pictured here but here are some of my favourites) and I made us a rather lovely dinner. Just call me Jamie Oliver. The pudding followed after watching the whole fifth season of The Walking Dead and several festive programmes.

Just add gravy! My mini, early Christmas dinner
AND finally, some of my gorgeous presents. Santa was clearly very drunk and delivered too many to one person. I am absolutely in love with my faux fur coat from Missguided and Sheer Maxi Dress from OH MY LOVE (both from my lovely Mama). Countless boxes of chocolates and sweets, not to mention some amazing makeup; my Lush It's Magic box, new dressing gown from Next and a few Blurays to add to the collection!

What did Santa bring you this year? I love reading all your comments so leave me a message below! Hope you all have an amazing day with friends and family,

Merry Christmas everyone!
