Lifestyle Review: God's Own Junkyard

This weekend, myself and Tara headed to central to celebrate Emily's birthday. Stopping off for some food at Waterloo, we made our way to Walthamstow to check out God's Own Junkyard where I fell head over heels. Here's a little look...

If you follow my Tumblr, you'll notice I've always had a thing for neon lights. There's just something about them that fills me with joy. Chris Bracey is a neon light artist and owner of God's Own Junkyard - home to the largest collection of neon's outside of the United States and the oldest neon makers in London. Besides being used a backdrop for many-a-television show, it's also been used for a stunning Vogue shoot and has a list of celebrity clients.

Apologies for the image spam but, I'm also not sorry. It had been on my list of places to visit for a while and I had gotten the chance to check out their pop-up at Soho last year, but the real thing was a whole new experience. The venue is free to visit and has a small cafe inside; serving drinks and a selection of cakes. When Emily suggested we head there for her birthday outing, I couldn't wait to see it for myself along and take a few snaps. We stayed inside for around an hour and I couldn't get enough of the place. I had such an awesome time seeing my fellow blogger babes, Tara and Emily, Check out their blogs if you haven't already.

That's it for another photo diary - have you ever visited God's Own Junkyard? Where are your favourite alternative places to see in London? As always, I love reading your comments so please do leave them below.

Until next time, hope you all have a wonderful week!
