I won't share any film spoilers, but you may be wondering how the cat cafe ties in with The Marvels, and I can assure you it makes perfect sense having seen the film. The film obviously sees the return of Carol's furry Flerken-friend, Goose (Flerkins of course share their appearance with domestic earth cats); and this time Goose has a few friends.
It was truly a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. I loved getting to spend time with the cats and kittens, and all of them are available for adoption should you fall deeply in love with them - which I did. The temptation to take them all home was very much there.
We got to spend a little while getting to know them all, each with their adorable The Marvels collars on, before taking a seat and enjoying a lavish selection of sweet and savoury Marvels themed treats. How cute are the Flerkin biscuits? Naturally, I loved the grey looking cat as it reminded me of my own cat, Ripley.
Having filled up on our afternoon tea and had plenty of cuddles with the cats and kittens at the cat cafe, it was time to hop on the party bus and over to Cineworld Leicester Square for the UK Special Screening. Here I posed awkwardly on the carpet and we enjoyed some drinks, DJs and photo opps before taking our seats to enjoy the film.
