Film Event: Disney's Maleficent: Mistress of Evil Halloween Party

In the spirit of Halloween and to a celebrate the release of Disney's Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, I was invited to a very exciting Disney Halloween party along with an exclusive screening of the film.

As you can imagine, when Disney put on an event, it's a sight to behold with no details spared. Naturally, this Halloween film screening event was no exception. Complete with costumes from the film, drinkable potions, a devilishly delicious sweet station, goth burgers and incredible spooky decorations, this special screening of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil was the perfect event. Here's a few of my snaps from the evening at Picture House Central in London's Piccadilly Circus.

If you were a fan of the first film, you are in for just as much as a treat. The film itself sees the return of the wonderfully talented, Angelina Jolie, as Maleficent. Set several years after the first film, Maleficent travels to a grand castle for young Aurora's  (Elle Fanning) upcoming wedding to Prince Phillip. However, once there, she meets Aurora's future mother-in-law, Queen Ingris, played by Michelle Pfeiffer and tensions run high. The Queen hatches a devious plot to destroy the land's fairies and Maleficent must work with a seasoned warrior and a group of outcasts to battle the Queen's army. You can expect incredible costumes, outstanding leading ladies and some Disney beautiful visuals.

Having got our faces glittered, filled up on wickedly tasty cake pops, checked out the flower garland and Maleficent horn craft section, we made our way in for a special screening of the film. As you can see, there was so much to do and see and we had an amazing time.

A huge thanks to Disney for allowing us to see the film ahead of the release and attend this amazing Halloween party. You can see Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in UK cinemas now. But tell me, have you seen Maleficent yet? What did you think? As always I love reading your comments so please do share your thoughts with me below.

Until next time fellow film lovers,
